Baking Day and Gift Drive Scheduled

Toy and Gift Drive

For all who have been asking, we are once again holding a toy and gift drive for the families staying at WINGS of Providence. Click this link for more information:  We will need some volunteers on the day, so if you’d like to help man the table for a few hours, or have a vehicle and can pick up/deliver/shuttle gifts on the day (or the following day for folks who need pick up and can’t deliver to M.E. Lazerte), please contact us.

Due to scheduling conflicts, we were unable to get a southside location this year (we will definitely have one next year when we hold the bake sale).

Need inspiration or gift ideas?  Check out the WINGS of Providence wish list on our web site:

Please share our gift drive with friends or family who want to donate to the families staying at WINGS of Providence this holiday season. Share this blog post, or share the Bake A Batch Facebook Page. Thank you!

gingerbread02Baking Day

Our enthusiastic team of volunteer bakers will be hard at it next Saturday, helping Chef Andrew Hess at M. E. Lazerte High School, baking up the goodies for WINGS of Providence. Though it is a small team this year, our plan is to expand greatly next year, inviting bakers to come to the school and bake their own recipes, making it very personal once again. This year is a test run for process and logistics. We want to have a bake sale again next year, and all your baked delights will be welcome!

Watch the Bake A Batch Facebook Page for photos of the baking day.
