Labelling Your Baking

Updated November 20th – new packaging and labeling requirements per Alberta Health Services.

Keep it easy and use masking tape and a Sharpie marker.

Indicate on the label:

  • what the baking is
  • any allergens including
    • dairy
    • nuts
    • soy
    • mustard
    • nuts, peanuts, nut extracts
    • seafood (think anchovies in Worcestershire sauce)
  • if the baking is
    • gluten-free
    • vegan
    • dairy-free, etc. (some of the kids and moms have similar eating restrictions)
